ANONYMOUZ – SMOKING JOINTS Album Launch

by on Apr.05, 2012, under Uncategorized

Its about that time! 4:20 That is.  Anonymouz   releases his new solo album, “SMOKING JOINTS”.

produced entirely by Dutch beat-team, Smoking Joints. The album is based on a style of writing developed in the 50s by beatnik poets called “automatic writing” in which the artist does not think about what he or she says but writes so as to expose one’s innermost thoughts and ideas, the byproduct of which frees and reveals one’s natural style. Anon invites homies Azrael, Sythe, Risskant, Copasetic, Nicky Scarfo, P-Butta and Kaboom to join him in this fun, smoked up, mixtape experience.

Come join Anonymouz and the rest of ILL-Legitimate @ The Electric Owl on April 19th.

KRATOS HIMSELF – My Mellow Yellow Taxi

by on Feb.06, 2012, under Uncategorized

In 1991 a boy was born in a small town called Goes, Holland. Some say he was born in the backseat of a cab. Some say he was made in the backseat of a cab. Some say a women left him in the backseat of a cab. All we know is that he is a young producer pretending to be cabby in a supermodified taxicab without a drivers licence and picking up artists.

He goes by the name Kratos Himself.

As a young kid he always was interested in music and began to experiment with percussion and instruments such as the  jewsharp. In 2008 he made his first attempt on making his own music using a computer. Three years later he has made his first  appearance on the  radio with the song called Lonely Ride. This will be the first release by Kratos and also the first single of his  upcomming album entitled My Mellow Yellow Taxi which will be released in 2011. A  55 minutes long athmopsheric ride that features  15 tracks with several passengers from Canada and The Netherlands. With influences such as, Jazz. It’s an experimental Hip-Hop    album that would fit in the genre Electronic. However, it sounds very organic

FREE DOWNLOAD AVAILABLE IN THE STORE

Kratos is also working on the first Jazzurected album “Jazztronauts”, a project of Kratos Himself & mc/singer K.J.B. and he’s working with the Canadian rapper Copasetic on the album “Dragon Soul”.

Both yet to be released.

MURDERBOOK COMIC RELEASED feat. COPASETIC

by on Jul.12, 2011, under Uncategorized

Sometimes good things come from drunken black-outs. I know this dude here in Vancouver named Copasetic. He’s a rapper and comic nerd and sometimes comes out to the jams. I’m a lover of hip-hop (especially old school). One night, while drunk, I jammed a copy of Murder Book into his hand and told him he had to do a theme track for it. I have almost zero recollection of this, but it sounds like something drunken Ed would do. A few days later, Cope shot me an email to tell me that he’d already started working on the track. A few weeks later, it was in my inbox. It’s some good stuff, and I’m more than thrilled to have a Murder Book theme song.    – ED BRISON (Murderbook Writter)

Song Credits:

Murder Book – Copasetic ft. Gracelle Bonifacio
Producer – Pace Beats
Mastered – Sythe of ILL-Legitimate
