Risskant the Woordwoerder has just recently released his new work entitled, “The Boom Bap EP” a 9-track collaboration project with producer Sensei Walingh.

The album is conceptualized around the musical style of boom bap, a format of hip-hop that peaked in popularity during the golden era and has been buried underground since. The album takes us back to these classic times with it’s jazz samples, keys, upright bass, guitar and the occasional string or trumpet, arranged of course over bangin’ Walingh drums in a way guaranteed to bring back that old head nod.
