P Butta’s infectious choruses and wild rhyme patterns highlight his uniquely Australian song-writing style, and it’s his hard work and dedication that solidify him as one of Australia’s new young artists to watch. But it is truly his one-of-a-kind timber, deep and jolly, that makes him stand out, giving him an edge among other Aussie vocalists.
He put in work with ILL-Legitimate in Australia, trained in our camp, and brought his hustle out to Vancouver in 2008, dropping his debut solo album, Entrenched. While there, and in close access to ILL-Legit studio, he completed his sophomore project, Got a Tic?, that features a few of Vancouver's best emcee's and is available for FREE download in the Store section above.
He was officially made a member in 2009, and has since gone back to Australia to work with many local artists. His collaborations with Tendancee (of Pure Product) have resulted in a near-completed project, Lifted Minds, and he has recently become a part of the group, Dead Beat Society, in his hometown of Brisbane, so you can check out his latest work on tracks with them or live on their sets together.
